Founded in August 2021 by Emaline Taylor, Poison Ivy Ink is a woman owned and operated Tattoo and Piercing company in Florida. Beginning independently in a small private studio in Brandon, Poison Ivy Ink is now a premiere tattoo company with 3 beautiful store fronts in Seminole Heights, Temple Terrace, and Downtown St. Pete. While only open for 2 years it has taken the Florida tattoo industry by storm, and is a hot spot for women and the LGBTQ+ community looking for new ink and piercings
There is an amazing staff at Poison Ivy Ink, comprised of 20 tattoo artists and 3 piercers all varying in different styles, specialties, and personalities. With such a fun group, every client gets an authentic, and genuine experience.
Poison Ivy Ink strives to be different from traditional tattoo shops, not only can you get clean and quality tattoos here, but you are also in a safe and inclusive atmosphere getting your needle therapy.

Walk-ins
Here at Poison Ivy Ink we absolutely love having our doors open for walk-ins, because while appointments are cool nothings more fun than the impulsive decision to get stabbed. With an array of amazing artists and piercers at Poison Ivy Ink, we have someone on staff daily for walk-ins!
We exclusively offer piercings only at our Tampa location (6308 N Florida Ave), but always recommend calling your desired shop to check piercer availability. If you scroll down to the piercing section below you can also fill out a Piercing Walk-in request.
While coming in the shop for a tattoo is more than welcome, we also take Walk-in Request Forms to help aid in scheduling. After submitting your form an artist with the criteria you chose will reach out to book you. While we will try our best to get you in, submitting a request does not guarantee a spot. Please call your desired location(s) same day walk-in requests

Tattoo Aftercare:
-DO NOT soak in water until healed, this can take up to 2wks-a month.
-Keep out of sun for the first month, and after the first month please make sure to use sunscreen when your out in the sun. (It is very true that the sun will fade your tattoos)
Healing with Second Skin
-Leave second skin on for 3-5 days.
-It is normal for ink, plasma, and blood to pool underneath wrap.
-Gently remove with warm water.
-Use antibacterial soap to clean area.
-Apply whatever lotion/oil of your preference to moisturize as needed. (NO PERFUMES, NO AQUAPHOR; We recommend Lubiderm, Aveno, or sheabutter)
-Second skin is shower and work out safe!
-If at any point the second skin begins to leak or is not sealed please remove.
-If second skin comes off before day 3 please follow instructions below
Healing without Second Skin
-Clean tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap
-Apply very thin layer of aquaphor to the tattoo as needed for the first 2-3 days.
-After day 3 PLEASE switch to non-fragranced lotion or oil of your preference.
-Too little moisture can dry your tattoo up and lead to fading, and too much moisture can cause infections so please be mindful throughout the healing process.
